Leaked information suggests that Google is adding a new button to the tab switcher content menu. With the new “Switch to Incognito” and “Switch out of Incognito” buttons in Chrome Canary for Android, users will be able to quickly toggle between regular and incognito tabs. To use this feature, you need to enable the #tab-strip-incognito-integration flag.
This feature will offer the “Switch to Incognito” option when you’re in a regular tab and the “Switch out of Incognito” option when you’re in an incognito tab. This allows you to enter and exit incognito mode with just a single click.
To enable this feature, download Chrome Canary for Android from the Google Play Store. Then, go to chrome://flags, type “Tab Strip Incognito Integration” in the search box, set the flag to “Enabled,” and select “Relaunch Chrome” to apply the changes.
While this isn’t a groundbreaking feature, it simplifies and makes the transition between normal and incognito tabs more efficient by reducing the number of steps required.
